Hi there!, My name is Megan and I’m a fitm8!

Fitm8 is a fantastic job as I meet LOADS of new people and help them change their lives for the better! Fitness and Exercise have always been an important and interesting topic for as I have been a competitive gymnast and athlete for many years and now hold a degree in Sport and Exercise Science.

With a vast knowledge of many different forms of exercise and training methods such as walking, running, jogging, cycling, swimming, general fitness, junior, adult and family fitness, going to the gym and many more. So whether you are looking for someone to take you into the gym and help you with some of the daunting machines, or take a more outdoors approach with maybe a jog or cycle around the park maybe even just someone to chat to then I can help YOU!

Believe me, you can……

I had Asthma from an early age, I started swimming at university and
the feeling of calmness, is only the same when I run, being your
Fit-M8 means we run together, im not just here to advise, help, and
support! I have the best career in the world we work together! Tennis?

Or cycling? We will be holding mini cycling tours in and around
Cardiff, taff trail etc.

On rainy days, we will go through simple stretching, toning,
conditioning, and strengthening exercises lets get the adrenalin and
endorphins going! Do you have a goal in mind?
I am your support, motivation and encouragement, your commitment to
support you each step we take.

Socialising whilst working out is very empowering, I often find when
training in the gym that I work almost twice as hard and achieve twice
as much when I’m with my house mate. I’m looking forward to meeting
new people through Fit-M8 and helping people through the highs and the
lows (though I’d call them challenges :-) ) and seeing them benefit
from the rewards at the end because believe me – there are!!!

ME? I am a positive, bubbly character, I have the experience and
knowledge about how to keep well conditioned, with and without
equipment. As a fitness enthusiast, I am all about varying the
exercise, with an interest in swimming, walking, jogging, body
conditioning and cycling.

My qualifications to date:

  • BSc Hons Sports Coaching
  • Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Gymnastics

Through Fit-M8 I Have Diploma’s in

  • Diploma in Health Studies
  • Diploma in Outdoor and Physical Education Studies.

 


Liviu Rusu

My specialty is Health and Fitness in the gym.

Hello everybody, I am Liviu, but you can call just Liv. I am a confident, honest, pro-active, dynamic and enthusiastic person. Also, I like to work hard, to give all my best for my job, able to work under pressure (particularly in busy periods).

Other skills may be: excellent team-working, good collaboration and
flexibility. I like to work with serious and ambitious people who are
willing to do their best in order to achieve their goals.

During my career, I have developed and improved my skills. Also, I have got
three Health & Fitness qualifications, called: Diploma in Outdoor and
Physical Education Studies, Healthy Living and Human Health – Diet and
Nutrition. I have worked in Romania within a gym as a fitness instructor for
two years and couple of months. It was a great experience for me. I had the
chance to meet a lot of interesting and different people able to learn, work
hard and get my advice in order to achieve their purposes. I like very much
to see that everyone is satisfied about the results, to know that they feel
better and don’t think they wasted time in the gym.

Regarding my job, fitness instructor, I am responsible for the provision of an excellent customer service in relation to the fitness room and all cross training activities,
supervise all members activities in the fitness room ensuring that all
equipment is used in a manner consistent with safe working practice, prepare
areas and equipment for sessions as and when required and undertake cleaning
of the premises and equipment ensuring the highest possible standards are
maintained. Also, I will offer diet and nutrition advice and a schedule to
be followed.

All I want to do is to help people to achieve their goals in a positive and
enthusiastic manner and to see them happy and pleased.
